Inspection Procedure

  1. Check voltage between terminals Tc and E 1  of DLC1. 

    CHECK: 

    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Measure voltage between terminals Tc and E1 of DLC1.

    OK: 

    1. Voltage: 10 - 14 V 
    1. OK: If ABS warning light does not blink even after Tc and E 1  are connected, the ECU may be defective. 
    2. NG: Go to Next Step

  2. Check for open and short in harness and connector between ABS actuator and DLC1, DLC1 and body ground. 
    1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Check and replace ABS ECU.
