Flasher Relay
NOTE:
Flasher relay may also be referred to as turn signal flasher relay.
- Remove flasher relay from fuse/relay box located at driver's side of instrument panel. See Figure.
- Using jumper wires, connect 2 turn signal light bulbs and battery voltage and ground to flasher relay. See Fig 1. Check that turn signal light bulbs flash at 60-120 times per minute. If one turn signal light bulb has an open circuit, the remaining turn signal light bulb will flash at more than 140 times per minute. Replace flasher relay if turn signal light bulbs do not flash as specified.
