Removal & Installation

Key unlock warning switch is located on upper steering column bracket, near ignition lock cylinder and contains a 2-pin electrical connector. See Figure. Key unlock warning switch may also be referred to as unlock warning switch. It may be necessary to remove steering column for access to key unlock warning switch. See STEERING COLUMNS article in the STEERING. Slide key unlock warning switch from upper steering column bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure.
