Engine Control Module: Removal

Disconnect negative battery cable. Engine Control Module (ECM) is located at passenger's side of instrument panel, just below glove box. See Figure. Remove lower instrument panel cover, passenger's side door opening scuff plate and passenger's side kick panel as necessary for access to ECM. Disconnect electrical connectors at ECM. Remove necessary retaining bolts and ECM.
