Back Door Lock Motor
- Back door lock motor is located the back door lock assembly . See Figure. Remove necessary door panels for access to 4-pin electrical connector at door lock assembly. Disconnect electrical connector at door lock assembly.
- Using jumper wires, apply battery voltage and ground to electrical terminals No. 3 and 4 for back door lock motor on back door lock assembly and check that door lock cable moves to the UNLOCK position. Perform STEP 1 in illustration. See Fig 1.
- Reverse jumper wires so polarity is reversed and check that door lock cable moves to the LOCK position. Perform STEP 2 in illustration. See Fig 1. Replace back door lock motor if operation is not as specified.
