Test 2: Ignition Switch Circuit

  1. Remove GAUGE (15-amp) fuse from under hood fuse block. Verify GAUGE fuse is okay. Replace if faulty. If fuse fails again, check and repair short to ground in circuit connected to GAUGE fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If fuse is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn Ignition off. Disconnect wireless door lock ECU harness connector. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage (backprobe) between ground and terminal No. 13 (Red/Blue wire) at wireless door lock ECU harness connector. If 10-14 volts is present, replace wireless door lock ECU. If 10-14 volts is not present, repair open in Red/Blue wire between GAUGE fuse and wireless door lock ECU.
