Using TOYOTA Hand-Held Tester

Start engine and check that ABS warning light blinks. If it does not blink, inspect the ABS warning light circuit and Ts circuit. See SYSTEM TESTS  . While the vehicle is stationary, release the brake pedal for 1 sec. Then depress the brake pedal with a force of 10 kgf (98 N.m) for more than 1 second. While the vehicle is stationary, quickly depress the brake pedal. At this time, ABS warning light remains lit for approximately 3 seconds. Refer to TOYOTA hand-held tester for further details.
