Key Unlock Warning Switch
- Disconnect electrical connector at key unlock warning switch. Key unlock warning switch is located on upper steering column bracket, near ignition lock cylinder and contains a 4-pin electrical connector. See Figure. Key unlock warning switch may also be referred to as unlock warning switch.
- Using ohmmeter, check that no continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 2 at key unlock warning switch electrical connector with ignition key removed from ignition lock cylinder, and that continuity exists with ignition key installed in ignition lock cylinder and ignition turned on.
