Key-In-Ignition Switch Warning Does Not Operate

Perform the following checks in the order listed:

• Check door lock control and integration control relay. See POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL & INTEGRATION RELAY CIRCUIT TEST  under SYSTEM TESTS.
• Check key unlock warning switch. See STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES - CARS article.
• Check door unlock detection switch. See DOOR UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
• Check door courtesy switch. See DOOR COURTESY SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
• Check wiring harness and connectors for tightness, damage or corrosion.
