Remote Transmitter
Open remote transmitter and remove battery. Replace with new battery. If new battery is unavailable, substitute 2 new 1.5-volt dry-cell batteries in series. See Fig 1. Connect battery positive terminal to battery receptacle side terminal and battery negative terminal to bottom terminal in order to provide 3 volts to remote transmitter. Attempt to operate door lock by remote control. If door locks operate, replace battery. If door locks do not operate, replace remote transmitter and reprogram. See REMOTE TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING .
