Test No. 10: One Taillight Does Not Operate

  1. Remove and examine taillight bulb which is not operating. If taillight bulb is okay, go to next step. If taillight bulb is defective, replace taillight bulb and recheck taillight operation.
  2. Check wiring harness and electrical connectors for taillight which does not operate. See WIRING DIAGRAMS in EXTERIOR LIGHTS article. Repair wiring harness or electrical connector as necessary.
