Diagnosis & Repair

If DTC P1121 exists, accelerator pedal position sensor is defective. Replace throttle body with accelerator pedal position sensor as an assembly. See THROTTLE BODY under FUEL SYSTEMS in REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION - V6 & V8 article.
