Description & Operation: AVALON

Both front seats slide forward and backward, front tilts up and down, rear tilts up and down, and seat backs recline forward and backward. See Figure. Driver's seat is also equipped with an adjustable lumbar (lower back) support. Power seat switch controls power and ground circuits of power seat motors. Power seat (30-amp) fuse in instrument panel junction block protects circuit.

Some models are equipped with optional heated front seats. Heating elements are located in seat cushion and seat back. Some models are also equipped with an optional driving position memory feature for driver's seat. Driving position memory is controlled by power seat control ECU located under driver's seat.
