Test E: Ignition Switch Circuit
- Remove power seat control ECU from under driver's seat, with harness connectors still connected. Using a DVOM, backprobe connector P21 and measure voltage between terminal No. 13 and ground, with ignition switch on and off. See Figure.
- With ignition switch off, there should be no voltage. With ignition switch on, voltage should be 10-14 volts. If voltage is as specified, go to TEST F: STOP LIGHT SWITCH CIRCUIT . If voltage is not as specified, check GAUGE No. 1 (10-amp) fuse for an open.
- If fuse is open, check for a short to ground in all harness circuits and components connected to fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If fuse was not open, check and repair open in harness or connector between power seat control ECU and battery.
