Headlight Relay

Remove headlight (control) relay located in engine compartment junction block. Check continuity between headlight relay terminals No. 4 and 3. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Continuity should exist. Using jumper wires, connect positive battery lead to terminal No. 4 and negative lead to terminal No. 3. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should exist while battery voltage is applied. Continuity should not exist when battery voltage is removed. If continuity is not as specified, replace headlight relay.
