Test No. 4: Rear Wiper/Washer Switch Circuit: Testing

  1. Check operation of rear wiper and washer switch. See appropriate WIPER/WASHER SYSTEMS article. If rear wiper and washer switch operates properly, go to next step. If rear wiper and washer switch is defective, replace switch assembly.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between rear wiper and washer switch and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. If connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed. See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING SYMPTOMS table under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If connectors or wiring are defective, repair as necessary.
