Power Window Master Switch Illumination Test: Camry

Disconnect driver's power window master switch harness connector. Set window lock switch to UNLOCK position. Connect 30-amp fused jumper between 12-volt battery positive terminal and driver's power window master switch terminal No. 8 (Green/Black wire). See Figure. Connect another jumper wire between battery negative terminal and driver's power window master switch terminal No. 4 (White/Black wire). Ensure all switches illuminate. Set window lock switch to LOCK position. Ensure all switch illumination goes out. If operation is not as specified, replace driver's power window master switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If operation is as specified, driver's power window master switch is okay.
