Test No. 5: Headlight Relay Circuit: Testing

  1. Check operation of headlight relay. See HEADLIGHT RELAY  under COMPONENT TESTS. If headlight relay operates properly, go to step  2. If headlight relay is faulty, replace headlight relay.
  2. Check for faulty connectors and wiring between battery, headlight relay and body ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  3. Repair wiring or connectors as necessary. If relay, connectors and wiring are okay, go to next test listed in appropriate SYMPTOM INDEX table under TROUBLE SHOOTING .
