Door Unlock Detection Switch

  1. Remove door trim panel and service hole cover. Disconnect 5-pin electrical connector for front door unlock detection switch and 4-pin electrical connector for rear door unlock detection switch. See Figure.
  2. Connect DVOM between electrical terminals No. 1 and 2 on electrical connector for front door unlock detection switch. Connect DVOM between electrical terminals No. 1 and 3 on electrical connector for rear door unlock detection switch. See Fig 1.
  3. Check that no continuity exists in LOCK position and continuity exists in UNLOCK position by using door lock knob on door. Replace door unlock detection switch if defective.
