Leaf Spring: Disassembly

Bend open spring clip. Using a chisel, pry up the spring clip. See Fig 1.
Remove center bolt. Hold the spring near the center bolt in a vise, and remove the center bolt. See Fig 2.

Drill off the head of the rivet and drive it out. See Fig 3. Install a new rivet into the holes of the spring leaf and clip. Then rivet with a press. See Fig 3.
Align the leaf holes and secure the leaves with a vise. See Fig 4. Install the spring center bolt. See Fig 4.
Using a hammer, bend the spring clip into the position. See Fig 5.
