Pressure Tank

  1. Disconnect hoses from pressure tank. Pressure tank is located below air intake chamber. See Fig 1. Apply air pressure to port "A" on pressure tank. Ensure air flows from port "B" on pressure tank. Perform STEP 1. See Fig 2.
  2. Apply air pressure to port "B" on pressure tank. Ensure air does not flow from port "A" on pressure tank. Perform STEP 2. See Fig 2. Using vacuum pump, apply about 18 in. Hg of vacuum to port "A" on pressure tank. Perform STEP 3. See Fig 2. Ensure vacuum reading holds for at least one minute. Replace pressure tank if defective. Remove vacuum pump and reconnect hoses.
