Indicator Light

Remove combination meter (instrument cluster). Disconnect Gray 10-pin connector "C" at rear of combination meter. Connect battery positive lead to Gray 10-pin connector "C" terminal No. 5 (Gray/Red wire) and battery negative lead to connector "C" terminal No. 2 (White/Black wire). If indicator light does not come on, replace light. If indicator light comes on, inspect wire harness and connectors between indicator light and ATS ECU. See TEST 2  under SYSTEM TESTS. Repair harness or connectors as necessary. If harness and connectors are okay, check ATS ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If found to be defective, replace ATS ECU and retest system.

NOTE: For other anti-theft or door lock components, see DOOR LOCKS - POWER article.
