Test 3

  1. Left Front Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit  - Verify door unlock detection switch operation. See DOOR UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and disconnect ATS ECU connectors. Close and unlock left front door. Ensure continuity exists between ground and ATS ECU connector "A" terminal No. 11 (Blue wire). If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open in harness or connectors as necessary.
  2. Right Front Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit  - Verify door unlock detection switch operation. See DOOR UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and disconnect ATS ECU connectors. Close and unlock right front door. Ensure continuity exists between ground and ATS ECU connector "A" terminal No. 7 (Blue wire). If continuity does not exist, repair open in harness or connector as necessary. If continuity exists, check ATS ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If found to be defective, replace ATS ECU and retest system.
  3. Rear Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit  - Verify door unlock detection switch operation. See DOOR UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and disconnect ATS ECU connectors. Close and unlock rear door. Ensure continuity exists between ground and ATS ECU connector "B" terminal No. 2 (Blue wire). If continuity does not exist, repair open in harness or connector as necessary. If continuity exists, check ATS ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If found to be defective, replace ATS ECU and retest system.
