Test 14: Trouble Code Circuit

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Locate Black Data Link Connector 1 (DLC1) connector on driver's side of engine compartment. Connect voltmeter positive lead to terminal Tc and negative lead to terminal E1. See Figure. Turn ignition switch to ON position and ensure battery voltage exists between terminals. If voltage is as specified, go to test for next trouble code displayed or appropriate symptom under TROUBLE SHOOTING BY SYMPTOM  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  2. If voltage is not as specified, ensure no short or open exists in harness or connectors between CC ECU and DLC1 or between DLC1 and ground. If harness and connectors are okay, check CC ECU. See PIN VOLTAGE TESTS . If found to be defective, replace CC ECU and retest system. If harness and connectors are not okay, repair as necessary and retest system.
