Air Induction System: Supercharger: Disassembly

1. Remove magnetic plug with "O" ring from rear cover and drain supercharger oil. See Fig 1. Using spanner wrench, hold clutch hub and remove clutch hub nut from center of clutch hub.
2. Remove clutch hub and shim. Using Ring Nut Socket (SST 09814-22010), remove ring nut. Remove clutch pulley. Remove wiring harness for clutch stator from wire clamp. Remove snap ring and clutch stator.
3. Remove clutch flange from housing. Remove wire clamp, front cover and gasket from housing. Remove rear cover and gasket from housing.
4. Place supercharger assembly in soft-jawed vise. Hold bolt at the center of one drive gear on rear rotor on supercharger while removing rotor nuts from the front of each shaft on rotor.
5. Remove rear plate from housing. Remove union from housing (if necessary). Remove elbow from rear plate (if necessary).
