Master Cylinder Push Rod
- Install Adjusting Gauge (09737-00010) onto master cylinder with master cylinder gasket in place. Lower adjusting gauge pin until pin just touches master cylinder piston. See Fig 1 (STEP 1). Invert gauge and install onto power brake unit. See Fig 1 (STEP 2).
- Measure clearance between power brake unit push rod and adjusting gauge pin. If clearance is not zero, adjust length of power brake unit push rod until push rod just touches gauge pin.
