Circuit Description

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), driven by the differential, outputs a signal to combination meter. Combination meter converts signal to a more precise waveform for ECM. Code is set when ECM does not detect any signal while vehicle is in motion. Possible causes are:
- VSS open or short circuit.
- VSS failure.
- Combination meter.
- ECM.
