Clearing DTCS

NOTE: DTCs can also be cleared by removing DOME fuse. However, memory for other electronic systems will be lost.

Turn ignition on. Connect jumper wire between DLC1 terminals Tc and E1. See Figure. With vehicle stopped, press brake pedal 8 or more times within 3 seconds. Verify ABS light flashes 2 times a second (normal code). DTCs will be cleared. Remove jumper wire from DLC1. Verify ABS light goes out after 3 seconds.
