Anti-Lock Brake System: Operation
Under normal driving conditions, ABS functions as a standard brake system. With detection of wheel lock-up, short pedal pulsations occurring in rapid succession will occur. Maintaining a constant force on the brake pedal provides shortest stopping distance.
