Measure brake pedal reserve distance from face of brake pedal pad to asphalt sheet under carpet, with engine running and force of 110 lbs. (50 kg) applied to brake pedal. Minimum brake pedal reserve distance should be 1.97" (50 mm). If distance is less than specified, inspect brake system.
