Air Control Valve (ACV)

  1. Remove ACV, located on bracket, near radiator. See Figure. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between electrical terminals on ACV and resistance is 30-34 ohms. Check that no continuity exists between each electrical terminal and the body of ACV.
  2. Apply air pressure to port "A". Ensure no air passes out ports "B" and "C". Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1. Connect battery voltage and ground to ACV terminals.
  3. Apply air pressure to port "A". Ensure air passes out ports "B" and "C". Perform STEP 2. See Fig 1. Replace ACV if defective. Reinstall ACV.
