Self-Diagnostic System

Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is equipped with self-diagnostic system. By analyzing various input signals, ECU detects system malfunctions related to various operating parameters. When malfunction occurs, CHECK ENGINE light on instrument panel is activated and fault code is stored in ECU memory.
