Clearing Codes

  1. Turn ignition on. Disconnect service connector. See Figure. Using a jumper wire, connect check connector terminals Tc and E1. See Figure. With vehicle stopped, depress brake pedal 8 or more times within 3 seconds to erase codes.
  2. REAR ANTI-LOCK light should show a normal code (flashes 2 times per second). Connect service connector. Remove jumper wire from check connector. Ensure REAR ANTI-LOCK light goes out after 2 seconds. Codes are now cleared. Ensure REAR ANTI-LOCK light shows a normal code.
