Actuator Check
NOTE:
Actuator Checker (09990-00150) is required to perform actuator check.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect actuator electrical connector. Disconnect ABS relay. See Figure or Figure
. Connect Actuator Checker (09990-00150) and Sub-Harness (09990-00205) to actuator and ABS relay. Connect actuator checker positive and negative power cables to vehicle battery.NOTE: DO NOT press power switch on actuator checker for more than 10 seconds.
- Start engine. Turn actuator checker selector switch to REAR position. See Fig 1. Strongly press and hold brake pedal. Press power switch (DO NOT press for more than 10 seconds). When power switch is pressed, brake pedal should go down. Release power switch. Brake pedal should rise. If brake pedal does not respond as described, replace brake actuator.
