Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove 3 screws and right front seat scuff plate. Remove bolt and disconnect right seat belt from floor panel. Remove 4 bolts and right front seat.
  2. Remove 2 bolts and right front seat leg. Remove 2 bolts and jack holder. Remove 9 bolts and right engine service hole cover. Drain coolant. Remove air intake connector. Disconnect throttle position sensor and idle speed control valve connectors. Disconnect vacuum hoses as required.
  3. Disconnect water by-pass hoses. Disconnect throttle cable (A/T). Disconnect accelerator cable and bracket. Remove throttle body bolts, throttle body and gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
