(1) If thermostat is equipped with a "jiggle valve" on its flange, install "jiggle valve" properly. On Camry, Celica, MR2, Previa and Tercel, align "jiggle valve" with protrusion on thermostat housing. On Corolla, align "jiggle valve" with stud bolt or above water inlet housing.
(2) Some models have a coolant capacity of 5.9 Qts. (5.6L).

(1) If thermostat is equipped with a "jiggle valve" on its flange, ensure "jiggle valve" is installed at 12 o'clock (straight-up) position. This applies to engines where thermostat flange is vertical when installed.
