NOTE: ECU is programmed to detect ignition problems. Checking for trouble codes can speed up your diagnosis. If ECU detects problem, diagnostic code will be set in memory. For information on system self-diagnostic capabilities and how to retrieve codes, see TESTS W/CODES article in this section.
