Speed Sensor & Sensor Rotor Serrations (Reference)

  1. Remove the glove box assembly. Disconnect the connector from the rear anti-lock brake system ECU.
  2. Connect an oscilloscope to the terminals RR+ and RR- on the wire harness side connector. See Fig 1and Figure .

  3. Run the vehicle at 20 km/h (12.4 MPH), and inspect speed sensor output wave.
  4. Check that C is 0.4 V or more. See Fig 2. If it is not as specified, replace the sensor rotor.

  5. Remove the oscilloscope and connect the connector to the ECU.
  6. Install the glove box assembly.
