Front Suspension: Description

An independent MacPherson type strut suspension is used. Suspension consists of vertically mounted strut assemblies, control arms, strut rods and stabilizer bar. On Cressida, strut assembly is mounted at top to inner fender and at bottom to steering knuckle arm. Steering knuckle arm is mounted to ball joint which is part of lower control arm. On Supra, strut assembly attaches to lower control arm and is not part of steering.
