Pick-Up Coil Resistance Test

Measure resistance of pick-up coil between terminals "G1" and "G(-)", "G2" and "G(-)", and between "NE" and "G(-)". See Fig 1. Resistance should be 140-180 ohms. If not within specification, replace distributor. If resistance is within specification, proceed to PICK-UP COIL AIR GAP CHECK.
