Airflow Meter & Sensor Test

Turn ignition off. Unplug wiring connector from airflow meter. Note terminal identification. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between specified terminals. Replace airflow meter if not within specification. See AIRFLOW METER RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS table.

AIRFLOW METER RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Check Between Terminals: Resistance in Ohms Should Read:
E2-Vc 200-400
E1-Fc
Measuring Plate Fully Closed Infinity
Measuring Plate Open 0
E2-Vs
Fully Closed 20-400
Fully Fully Open 20-1200
E2-THA
