Power Window Motor
- To test operation of power window motor, connect a lead from the positive terminal of the battery to motor terminal No. 1 and ground to terminal No. 2 and ensure motor turns downward. See Fig 1. Reverse polarity and ensure motor turns upward.
- To test motor circuit breaker operation, hold the window control switch in the UP position with the window fully raised. Ensure there is circuit breaker operation noise within 4 to 40 seconds, and motor no longer functions. Ensure window functionality returns after approximately 60 seconds. If motor operation is not as specified, replace motor.
