Compression Check

  1. With engine at normal operating temperature, remove all spark plugs. Disconnect the distributor connectors to disable the ignition system.
  2. With throttle valve wide open, crank the engine. Compare reading to specification. See COMPRESSION SPECIFICATIONS  table. Repair as necessary. Reinstall distributor connectors and spark plugs/wires.
