Pick-Up Coil Air Gap Check

Using flat, non-magnetic feeler gauge, check air gap between signal rotor and pick-up coil projection. See Fig 1. Air gap should be within .008-.016" (.20-.40 mm). If air gap is incorrect, replace camshaft position sensor assembly. If air gap clearance is within specification, proceed to IGNITOR TEST.
