"Check Engine" Light

"CHECK ENGINE" light will come on and stay on when ignition is turned on and engine not started. Once engine is started, "CHECK ENGINE" light should go out. If light remains on, a failure or abnormality has been detected. Stored codes will be identified by number of "CHECK ENGINE" light flashes. If "CHECK ENGINE" light does not operate properly, proceed to DIAGNOSIS CIRCUIT TEST .
