Stoplight Switch Circuit
- Turn ignition on. Check "STOP" fuse. If fuse is blown, check for short in harness between terminal No. 12 of cruise control computer terminal and fuse. If fuse is not blown, disconnect electrical connector from cruise control computer.
- Check for continuity between terminal No. 5 on wire harness side and body ground with brake pedal depressed. If no continuity is present, test stop light switch. If continuity is present, check for battery voltage between terminal No. 12 and body ground.
- If battery voltage is not present, check for open circuit in harness between terminal No. 12 of harness and "STOP" fuse. If battery voltage is present, check for battery voltage between terminal No. 11 of harness and body ground with brake pedal depressed.
- If battery voltage is not present, check for open or short in harness between terminal No. 11 of computer and terminal No. 2 of stop light switch. If battery voltage is present, replace cruise control computer.
