Speed Sensor Circuit
- Disconnect electrical connector from instrument panel printed circuit board. Check for continuity between harness terminal No. 3 and body ground.
- If no continuity is present, check for open in harness between terminal No. 3 and body ground. If continuity is present, disconnect electrical connector from cruise control computer. Check for continuity between circuit board harness terminal No. 2 or wire harness side and terminal No. 7 of computer.
- If continuity is not present, check for open in wiring harness between printed circuit board and computer. If continuity is present, test speed sensor operation. If speed sensor does not operate properly, replace sensor. If sensor operates properly, replace cruise control computer.
