Overhaul - W/Manual Trans: Description
Two-speed transfer case is connected to rear of transmission by adapter housing. High range is used in both 2WD and 4WD modes depending upon traction needs. Unit has 4 ranges to choose from; "2H", "4H", "4L" and "N".
NOTE:
When operating in 2WD in cold climates, noise may be heard until transfer case reaches normal operating temperature. Always operate in 4WD in cold climates until transfer case is warmed up.
