Engine Cooling Systems: Radiator: Removal

  1. Drain coolant.
  2. For A/T models only disconnect oil cooler hoses. Remove and lay the washer fluid tank to one side without disconnecting the hoses. Disconnect the 2 cooler hoses from the radiator, see NOTE below.
    NOTE: Be careful because some oil will leak out. Plug the hose to prevent oil from escaping.
  3. On all models remove fan shroud. Disconnect radiator hose and coolant reservoir hose from radiator. Remove radiator upper bolt and raise vehicle.
    CAUTION: Make sure vehicle is securely supported.
  4. Remove engine under cover. Remove radiator by removing the nuts and pull out the radiator from the frame.
