Starter - NIPPONDENSO Direct Drive: Overhaul: Reassembly

1. Clean all parts. Apply coat of multipurpose grease to sliding surface of armature shaft splines, starter clutch bushing, pinion lever and stud.
2. Reassemble in reverse order of disassembly. After completing reassembly, check clearance between pinion gear and stop collar. Clearance should be 0.004-0.160" (0.10-4.0 mm).
